Handicap Tournament 2014

Competition Results Posted on 19 Oct, 2014 23:03

Hi,

Tonight were the finals of the Handicap Tournament. There were better entries this year with 26 for squash and 17 for Racketball.

The handicaps were well worked out by Neil as there were some very close matches even though the gap between certain players was huge.

I was a well contested tournament with one player getting to both main finals. We were asked if possible to hold the finals of the Racketball and Squash on different nights. We will look at this at the next meeting.

Results are below:

Squash Main:

Adam Mudge 3 Graham Rogers 1

Squash Plate:

Ian Smaller 3 Mike Kateb 2

Racketball Main:

Graham Rogers 3 Paul Garside 1

Racketball Plate:

Andy Mitchell 3 Richard Gage 2

Cheers

PAIGNTON SQUASH CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 2012

The winner of this year’s PSC Club Championships in the men’s main competition was Peter Reeve. Peter beat Richard Birkett in the Final 3-2 in a hard fought enthralling match. Congratulations to Peter winning the club champs for the third time. We hope to see more entries in the competition next year and especially in the top order rankings.

Andy Mitchell won the plate competition and also the resurrected Men’s Senior competion. In the Plate final Andy beat Neil Robinson 3-1 and in the Seniors final unfortunately due to injury Andy had a walkover V Terry Ridge.
